SEYMOUR — Dennis Leon Fetters, 58, was born in Centerville on Feb. 5, 1951, and passed away at VA in Knoxville, on Nov. 10, 2009. Dennis graduated from Seymour High School in 1969 after serving as Senior Class VP and other honors. He attended one year of college at Graceland College. After college, he married Janie Reed and served in the Army. He was an excellent athlete and excelled in all sports. Dennis lived a much too short life but left a lot of fond memories. Dennis is survived by his mother, Barb Fetters; daughters Tracy Fetters (Chris) Matheny and Tonya Fetters (Mark) Hamilton and son Dustin White; brothers Danny Fetters (Jane), Doug Fetters and sisters Deb (Jack) Kovacevich and Darla Somers; nine grandkids — Riley, Rhyan, Cade and Keegan Matheny; Mason, Max and Maze Hamilton and Alliyah and Boudyn White; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Dwight Leon Fetters. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Randolph Funeral Home in Seymour. Graveside service to follow at New York Cemetery. Memorial to the family to be decided later.
