Erin Renee Ferree, 28, of Sullivan, passed away 8:50 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010, at the Sullivan County Community Hospital. The 2000 graduate of Sullivan High School was born June 18, 1981, in Terre Haute, to Gary Ferree and Jo Ann Borgmeier Ferree. Erin received her bachelor's degree in agriculture from Vincennes University. She was a machine operator for Allomatic, and a member of the Bethel Church at Freelandville.
Survivors include her parents of Sullivan; brother, Justin Ferree of Sullivan; sister, Bonnie Ferree of Terre Haute, grandmother, Lenor Ferree Royer of Clay City; fiancé, Matthew Aldridge of Sullivan; a nephew, Aiden Whitt of Terre Haute; and other relatives.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Church in Freelandville with the Rev. Mike Decoursey officiating. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Holmes Memorial Chapel, in Sullivan, and Tuesday noon until time of services in the church. Those who wish, may make donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, PO Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
