Clayton Madden Obituary
Clayton Madden, 77, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010. Born Feb. 3, 1933 in Owsley County, Ky., he was the son of the late Walker and Della Hurst Madden.
He was a retired monument engraver and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Clinton Darrell Madden; two brothers, Claude Madden and Clifton Madden; and a sister, Betty Jean Smith.
Survivors include a son, Keith Madden, Stafford, Va.; four daughters, Connie Truslow, Fredericksburg, Va., Linda Adams, Tipp City, Ohio, Lori Samples and Gail Cheatam, both of London, Ky.; two brothers, Benny Madden, Pittsburg, Ky., and Walker Madden Jr., Mt. Vernon, Ky.; a sister, Ruth Madden, London, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, April 21, at Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Medley officiating.
Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eugene Madden, Larry Henson, Neal Brown, Billy Madden, Michael Gregory and Claude Madden Jr.
