ADALBERT GUTTMAN Obituary
Boynton Beach, FL & Monticello, NY
Dr. Adalbert Bela Guttman, a retired pathologist, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in Delray Beach, FL.
He was a loving and devoted husband of Alice Guttman, father of George Guttman and Carol Guttman-Finnie, daughter-in-law Shana Epstein Guttman, son-in-law Matt Finnie, grandchildren Daniel and Hannah Finnie, Simone and Jocelyn Guttman.
Adalbert Bela earned his pathology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC. He was a U.S. Naval Officer, who served during the Korean War at Chelsea Naval Hospital in MA.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 23, at 1 p.m. at the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home, 388 Broadway in Monticello with Rabbi Michelle Medwin officiating. Burial will follow at the Temple Sholom Cemetery, South Woods Drive in Monticello. Shiva begins Sunday after services, and will continue Monday and Tuesday evening at the Guttman home.
