Gussie Stoney Obituary

Mrs. Gussie Stoney - SAVANNAH - Mrs. Gussie Stoney, 82, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010 at Savannah Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She was a native of Sanford, FL, but later moved to Savannah, GA. Mrs. Stoney was a member of Second Arnold Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board. She was employed at the Pirate House as a cook for over forty years. She leaves to cherish her memories: son, Jesse Hamilton (Daisy Mae); daughter, Beverly J. Brigham (Willie); two stepsons, Ronald Hamilton and Paul Stoney (Deanna); five step-daughters, Ernestine Hamilton, Shelia Hamilton, Valerie Hamilton, Martha Mitchell, and Nancey Bruin (Lonnie); brother, Nathaniel Williams (Marie) of Orlando, FL; thirty-seven grandchildren; ninety-two great grandchildren; sixteen great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
