AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral Services for Mrs. Lois E. Walker, 65, formerly of Augusta, Georgia, who entered into rest January 2, 2011, will be conducted Friday morning at 11 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rabbi Daniel H. Johnson officiating. Interment in Crown Hill Cemetery, Albany, Georgia, Saturday at 12 noon. Mrs. Walker was a native of Sylvester, Georgia having made the Augusta area her home for the past 25 years. She was a member of Avinu Malkeinu Messianic Synagogue, a former member of Curtis Baptist Church, the Nancy Wilcox Sunday School Class and was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. She was the former co-owner of Augusta Self Storage. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Quinnon S. Walker; daughter, Gina Gallegos, North Augusta; step-son, Colin Walker, Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren, Dixie Walker, Daniel Walker, Aaron Walker and Elena Gallegos. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Thursday evening from 5 until 7. Posey Funeral Directors of North Augusta in charge of arrangements (803-278-1181).
