Canon - Mrs. Marilyn Hart Dove, 57, of 1173 Old Royston Road, Canon, Ga. died Friday, January 28, 2011, at the Cobb Memorial Hospital in Royston, Ga.
Mrs. Dove was born in Franklin County, Ga., August 7, 1953, daughter of Mrs. Clara Hembree Hart of Royston, Ga. and the late Branson Hart. She worked in materials management at Ty Cobb Memorial Hospital in Royston, Ga. and was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include husband, Norman Dove, Jr. of Canon, Ga.; sons and daughters-in-law, Nathaniel and Rebecca Dove of Canon, Ga. and Stephen and Priscilla Dove of Athens; one grand-daughter on the way, Shelby Grace Dove; brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Debra Hart of Lavonia, Ga., one sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Davie Joe Floyd of Dewey Rose, Ga.; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dove will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 30, 2011, at the
Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Huff and Rev. Frank Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowers Memorial Gardens in Canon, Ga..
The body is at the Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, Ga. where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday evening. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 Sunday afternoon. The family is at the home.
Flowers are optional; memorials may be made to the Grace Baptist Church Building Fund, 1283 Grace Baptist Church Road, Canon, GA 30520.

We know Marilyn was a great wife and Mom and know you all miss her greatly. We've been thinking of you, Norman,the boys and their wives this week. Just know she is in a better place and try to remember all the good memories you shared with her.
