John Ericson Obituary

Dr. John Edward Ericson, 76, of Mt. Jackson, died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Life Care Center of New Market.

He was born April 1, 1934 in Glenwood Springs, CO, son of the late Earl Edward and Dagmar Mitchel Ericson.

He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.

Dr. Ericson is survived by his wife Jan G. Ericson whom he married May 7, 1954. Also surviving are two daughters, Anne Elizabeth Ericson of Myrtle Beach, SC and Rose Dagmar Ericson of Grand Junction, CO; three sons, Thom Edward Ericson and Earl Joseph Ericson both of Grand Junction, CO and Eric Michael Ericson of Winchester; a brother, Rev. William Delmar Ericson of Lansing, MI; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a sister, Linnea Hurst.

Services will be at a later date in Grand Junction, CO.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 321, Woodstock, VA 22664.

Cremation arrangements are by Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.
