Earl Beek Obituary
Earl Beek, 72, of rural Brandon, died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
Earl was born Oct. 30, 1938, in the town of Waupun, the son of Ralph and Winnie Konings Beek.
On Aug. 1, 1959, he married Audrey Cleland in Brandon. Following their marriage, the couple resided in the Brandon area most of their married lives.
Earl was employed by Carnation Co. (N/K/A Silgan Containers) from 1959, and retired in 1999.
Earl was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon.
Earl served with the Army National Guard for nine years, with one year of active duty at Fort Lewis, Washington.
Earl is survived by his wife of 51 years, Audrey Beek of Brandon; a daughter, Jody Connor of Ripon, Wis., a son, Randal Beek of Vesper, Wis.; five grandchildren: Jason (Robyn) Fryman, Sarah Crook (fianc?, Alex Timm), Albray (Derek) Turner, Trista (Jeremy) Recore and Zachery Beek; five great-grandchildren: Holly Fryman, Gavin Wakeley, Mason Timm, Dominique Beek and Jeremy Recore Jr.; a brother, Bernie (Angeline) Beek of Waupun; a sister, Annice (Elmer) Hopp of Waupun; nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan Crook and Kyera Recore.
SERVICES: Funeral services for Earl Beek will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at 10:30 a.m., at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon, with the Rev. Stuart Dornfeld officiating.
Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in the town of Trenton.
VISITATION: Friends and relatives of Earl Beek may call on the family on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun; and on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

I worked with Earl for many years at Carnation / Silgan. Earl was a good man and I enjoyed working and talking to him. The family has my condolences.
