Helen Eberhardt Obituary

Helen J. Eberhardt , 88, born in Rusk, Texas on October 20, 1923, passed away on February 22, 2012. She was a longtime resident of Houston/Pearland. She loved going on trips with her sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and her husband of 40 years, Melvin Gus Eberhardt. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Ryals and husband Billy, son Glenn Eberhardt and wife Patricia, grandchildren, Kimberly Williamson and husband Mike, Jennifer Burleson and husband Carlton, Curtis Eberhardt and wife Heidi, and Melissa Shaklovitz and husband Sean, great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Emma Burleson, Megan, Morgan, and Matthew Williamson and Ryan Eberhardt, sisters, Merle Thornhill and Mary Ellen Harris, and sister-in-law Trudy Hugghins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 S. Houston Ave., Humble, Texas 77396. A visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.

Helen (Jewell) was always a bright spot in the Eberhardt family. She will always be remembered for that East Texas drawl, along with her natural charm. My sympathy and love to each of you.
