Gladys Jenkins, longtime resident of St. Augustine, passed away at age 95 in Jacksonville at Signature Health Care.
Gladys was very artistic. She was a member of the Art Club, ran G & J"s Ceramic Shop out of her home for many years, made beautiful porcelain dolls and was an excellent seamstress. Gladys was also a member of First Methodist Church on King Street.
She is survived by her daughter, Lindy (Bob) Van Dyke of Jacksonville; four grandchildren, Dena (Ed) Goodwin, Kimberly Smith, Robert Dean Van Dyke and Kelly Jenkins; three great-grandchildren, Micheal, Christian and Jessica; two great-great grandchildren, Kiley and Walter. Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, Sim Warnock Jenkins and her grandson, Kevin Jenkins.
Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday and funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, all at Craig Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

Lindy and Bob, Thank you for so many years of getting to have Nanny in my life. She will always be in my home with what she gave me. Nanny was like my own grandmother a very caring lady, but also strong willed. She will now be in a better place with your dad and other family members.
