I was part of the QRF back in 2003. My 8-year-old son will be wearing his name this Memorial Day to honor Sgt. Moss during a baseball tourment. I will be reading to my son everything that I can research about Sgt. Moss and his family. I think about this tragedy every day. I pray for everyone that was changed forever on 11.2.03.

We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and we'll be dedicating several of these to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and the hometown of Keelan L. Moss US Army Sergeant. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community. SGT. Moss was a wonderful soldier and a awesome friend. I remember we got promoted to SGT. on the sameday. HE was one of the original ammo dogs. I will miss you my friend.

It is difficult to know what to say since I want to express my sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Sgt Moss. Please know that your loved one is not forgotten. I wish everyone impacted by this tragic loss strength and peace. I hope that Sgt Moss knew that there are people in America who respect his great courage in serving as a member of the US military. Although I did not know him, I know that he must have been a very special person to be willing to do something that most Americans will never have to experience, and for that we can never say thank you enough.

I had the honor of being really good friends wilth Keelan in high school. I am glad God gave me the opportunity to come across a really sweet and humble man. I am truly sorry for your loss. He did something that has the up most respect from everyone in this world. He may be gone but he still lives in our hearts.
