MILLER
Jim Miller of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013 at the age of 67. He was born on April 10, 1945 in San Antonio to the late Elizabeth Houston Miller and Max H. Miller, Jr. Jim's family and friends were blessed with the best father, brother and friend that anyone could have. He was generous and a good friend to many. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting and photography. Big Bend National Park became one of his favorite places to visit. One of Jim's favorite sayings was "You can take a man out of South Texas, but you can't take South Texas out of a man". He was preceded in death by his parents. Jim is survived by his children, Daniel Langford Miller, Laura Anne Miller, Stephan Franklin Miller and Jenny Elizabeth Miller; grandson, Houston Langford Miller; sister, Marianne M. Kilian and her husband, Frederick; cousins, Russell Miller, Marcie Cox and others; also his special cat, Princess. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Big Bend National Park.
