TREVINO
Benigna "Nina" S. Treviño, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at the age of 91. She was born in Luling, Texas to parents Antonio and Benigna Sanchez, on April 14, 1921. Benigna was a parishioner, a Eucharistic Minister and a Guadalupana at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church for most of her life, and had a special devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe. She will always be remembered for the love and dedication she held for her family and she will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Celestino E. Treviño Sr.; sons, Victor Sr. and Celestino Jr.; grandson, Mark D. Treviño; and brothers, Cesilio and Tony Sanchez. Benigna is survived by her daughter, Anna M. Treviño (Cheri Harbert); grandchildren, Victor Treviño Jr. (Yvette), Elizabeth Kugler (Doug), and Celeste Neaves (Joe); great-grandchildren, Amanda Treviño, Bradley Kugler, Victoria and Roman Neaves; great-great-grandson, Amelio Treviño; brothers, Mike, Pete and Joe Sanchez; sister, Mary S. Tamayo; daughters-in-law, Marie and Ann Treviño; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to acknowledge the professionals of VITAS Hospice for their wonderful care during this difficult time. The family will receive friends at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N. Main, on Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home the following morning, Monday, February 25, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. for a 12:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 907 West Theo Avenue. Anna, Victor, Lisa & Celeste and all the Trevino Family - I am very sorry for your loss. "Trevino" and all of you are in my prayers.
I have very fond memories growing up on Malone Street and playing and visiting this lovely home.
I know she is with the Lord Jesus, Holy Mary & all her beloved relatives - so at peace and happy to be in Heaven.
