Kenneth Wheatley Obituary

WASHINGTON, Ga. - Mr. Louis Kenneth Wheatley, 67, of Washington, died October 31, 213 in Georgia Regents Medical Center. A native of Washington, he was the son of Stanley and Katherine Norman Wheatley. Kenneth worked for the Wilkes County Board of Commissioners Road Department. He was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Allen Wheatley. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 2nd, at 3:00pm, in Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Reviere and Rev. Rob Cohen officiating. Charlie Burgess, Greg Remley, Tim Ray, Bobby Moore, Jonathan Wheatley, Greg Norman, Marvin Stevens, G.B. Newsome and Tommy Norman will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include one daughter, Leah Fair, Washington; parents, Stanley and Katherine Wheatley, Washington; two brothers, Donald Wheatley (Barbara), Washington and Norman Wheatley (Marie), Tiger, GA; one sister, Kathy W. Smith (Lyn), Appling; five nephews, two nieces, one great niece, two great nephews, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family received friends Friday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Scholarship Fund for his daughter, Leah Fair @ Farmers and Merchants Bank. Arrangements are in the care of Hopkins Funeral Home.
