Katherine Beverly
Landers
June 26, 1927 - Nov. 2, 2013
Passed away peacefully in her sleep in the middle of the night at Seton Hospital, right after saying goodbye to her grandchildren, son, and daughter-in-law.
She was the loving wife of the late James Raymond Landers and mother of the late Thomas J. Landers; she is survived by her loving son James O'Conner Landers and dearest daughter-in-law Lisa Landers; Nana of Kylie Maureen, Aisling Grace and Thomas Henry Landers, her greatest gifts; sister of the late Reverend Father Charles P. O'Conner and sister Joyce, whom she loved; sister-in-law of Mary Hauscarriague and Thomas F. Landers (and wife Patty); her dear Niall McCarthy, who had been like a son to her; her caregivers who enjoyed listening to her many fascinating stories; all her amazing girlfriends whom she shared so many great memories; the "boys" that have been loyal and kind to her all these years and her friends and relatives that have added to her wonderful life.
She loved to cook and entertain, and her greatest joy was being a wife and mother. She was an avid traveler and her favorite places in the world, other than San Francisco, were Italy and Ireland. She loved her In-laws with all her heart and helped care for them in their elder years, which she happily did. She always said, "Don't cry for me when I die, I lived a very good life." And that she did. A generous, kind woman 'til the end. Now she is with her husband and son again in Heaven.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday after 6:00pm and are invited to attend the Vigil Service Tuesday 7:00pm and the celebration of the Funeral Mass Wednesday 11:00am ALL AT ST. CECILIA CHURCH, 17TH Ave. & Vicente St., SF. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery.

Jimmy & Lise, so sorry for your loss. Many a fond childhood memory of the always welcoming Landers Home. Bev I have no doubt was met with the same love upon entering the Lord's house to join her husband and Tom. Condolences, Tony, Gina, & Tyler Aguerre

Hi Jimmy,
I just learned of your mom's passing. I remember so many times up at your house, walking the dog ( or rather he walking us) the chocolate covered bananas and mostly your mom's kindness and love.
She and you are in my prayers.
Be well, God bless

Dear Jimmy and family, I was so sorry to hear of your Mother's death. I was out of town and just heard. She was a true friend to all and I remember all her help with St Cecilia's Mothers club. May she rest in peace.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Beverly at Yvonne and John's wedding.
I had heard so many wonderful things about Aunt Beverly and looked forward to meeting her. It took one hello to see all the love that Beverly had for her family and all those around her. It was easy to see why her family loves her so much.
What a wonderful day. I am so happy Beverly was there to share such a happy time with us all.
