I had the opportunity to get to know Otis in Tulsa as he battled his cancer. He was kind and thoughtful and I always looked forward to seeing him. He loved music and I was blessed to hear him play the piano. Often spoke of his family and he loved you all very much. I am so very sorry for your loss. Till we meet again my friend Otis...till we meet again.

To my dear Family, I am so very sorry to hear that my Cousin O has gone. I am feeling lost right now because he is no longer here. I know that he is in a much better place and all of his fears are over. I know that if there was any way that he could still hold on he would have but God knew best and because of this he can now rest. May God be with all you during this difficult time and I will always remember my cousin and also my dear friend. Take care

To "My adopted daughter" Araya: Sweetheart, I know that you are experiencing a difficult time right now and nothing could have prepared you for this day. Even with that being the case, WE know that our hope, faith and strength all come from our Heavenly Father. My prayer is that you find solace in knowing that your Dad is now pain free. I also pray that God the Father continues to surround you and be your comforter ... and that peace ... the peace that He can only provide... which passes every bit of understanding...rest within your heart. I love you dearly and I will ALWAYS be here for you. Sending you SC hug! "Momma Jeri"

R.I.P. Otis... no more pain and Heaven bound!!! We don't always understand why God does what he does, nor do we understand why he does things when he does them. But, praise GOD for his promise of eternal life. Continued prayers to the family: Mrs. Copeland, Olivia and Araya.
