NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. Earl Wesley Carroll, 81, husband of the late Evelyn Armor Carroll and the late Merle Leaphart Carroll, entered into rest on Sunday, March 2nd, 2014, under the tender and loving care of Trinity Hospice. Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late John Wesley and Laura Honeycutt Carroll. He was a Loom Fixer at Bath Mill for thirty-eight years. Following the closing of Bath Mill he later worked for Amoco Plastics and Graniteville Company. He was a member of Clearwater First Baptist Church. He could be found most mornings hanging out with his buddies at Hardees. He was also an avid Braves fan. Family was very important to him and he loved being with them. In addition to his parents and late wives, family members include his children, Ronnie (Carol) Carroll, Graniteville, SC, Marshall (Lynn) Carroll, Graniteville, SC, Dennis (Theresa) Carroll, Warrenville, SC, Eric (Shawn) Carroll, North Augusta, SC, Kay (David) Allen, Beech Island, SC and Tabitha (Joseph) McDaniel, North Augusta, SC; sister, Emma Lee (Steve) Greatsinger, Langley, SC; grandchildren, Tosha Carroll, Grady Carroll, Cody Carroll, Ashley Carroll, Lauren Carroll, Matthew Carroll, Mark Carroll, David Allen, Jr., Wesley McDaniel and the late Christy Wilson and ten great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th, 2014, at 2 o clock at New Hope Gospel Chapel, Beech Island, SC, with Pastor Bob Still officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. The following gentlemen have been requested to serve as pallbearers: Tim Wilson, Doug Silas, James Barron, Dean Still, Jerry Toole and Marion Toole. The family respectfully requests that memorials be made to Trinity Hospice of Aiken, 690 Medical Park Dr. Aiken, SC 29801, due to the excellent care provided to Mr. Earl and the family. Friends will be greeted by the family on (this evening) Tuesday, March 4th, 2014, from 5 until 8 o clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC.
