MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mae "Mary" Alice Holland Smith entered into rest on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5 at 2 pm at First Missionary Baptist Church in Thomasville, GA. Survivors include four children, Dr. Deborah A. Smith of Martinez, GA, James E. (Belinda) Smith III of Dupont, Washington, Lewis G. (Maxine) Smith of Riverdale, GA, Arthur G. Smith (Carla Petty) of Thomasville, GA; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn two sisters, Bernice H. (James) Rogers of Tampa, FL and Martha H. (Walter) Williams of Thomasville, GA; a half-brother, Luther Holland of Chicago, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, acquaintances and the Varnedoe St. neighborhood in Thomasville, GA.
