AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Peggy Viola Purkey entered into rest May 15, 2014. Memorial Services will be held at 2PM Monday, May 19, 2014, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home-Lumpkin Road Chapel with Pastor Albert Stroup officiating. Survivors include her husband, Donald Blake Purkey; daughter, Marlisa Gibson and husband Charlie Gibson; son, Tracy Harp and wife Victoria Harp; step-daughters, Cheryl Graham and husband John Graham and Tina Louise Herbert and husband Joe Herbert; step-sons, Donald Purkey, Jr. and James Purkey; grandchildren, Jacob Gibson, Timothy Carter, Tina Marie Graham, Andy Herbert, Ryan Herbert, Emily Herbert, Kayla Purkey, Josh Purkey and Jessica Graham; great-grandchildren, Hunter Purkey, Ryder Purkey, and Baylee Purkey; sister, Martha Wallauer; and nephew, Rex Marney. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Donald I am so sorry to learn of Peggy's passing. I enjoyed her so much when she would come in our office at Richmond County Farm Bureau. She and I did get to be pretty close and I just know that she is walking around heaven heaven right now with joy in her steps. Please let me know if I can do anything know I keep you and your family in my prayers.
