Milford was a gentleman, a real brother in Christ. I had a little conversation with him in the logos forum, where he heartly welcomed me. I am glad that I will meet him again in heaven. Milford, we will miss you. My condolence to your family. Rest in Peace. Hermann Fritz

Deeply saddened. I didn't know Milford personally, but his posts on Logos were always in peace and respect. I wish I knew him personally. One day we'll meet. mm.

I, like others, only knew Milford through the Logos forums. May his family rest in the knowledge of his faith in the resurrection. I look forward to meeting him when I go home.

Milford often invited me to meet him at some point in time - sadly that will now not happen till we meet in our real home. I will look forward to seeing you at some point in the future. Praise God for all you said and did.

Milford was a great encouragement to me through his prayers and kind words. We never met "face to face," but he had a pastoral ministry to me nevertheless. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Dear Lorna and family,

I am so sorry to hear of Milford's passing. I never met him in person, but I felt like I knew him. He was a cheerful presence on the Logos Bible Software forums, where he and I and several other "MVPs" shared volunteer responsibilities for answering user questions. He brought a sense of peace and joy there that will be very much missed by thousands of Logos users. I hope you know how much of an impact he made. You can look through some of his interactions with others there by following the links from his profile page if you want: http://community.logos.com/members/2191

I knew Milford only through the Logos forums. His wisdom and unique writing style will be sorely missed. And as a Catholic with a Lutheran pastor as a daughter-in-law, he was an especially dear source of theological knowledge.

Seeing you and your family last summer at our service at Holy Cross was a joy. We will not forget the great effort it took for Pastor Mel to come and also take part in the service always with that winning smile! Definitely a heartfelt moment.

When you walked into the church and up the stairs you could always count on that happy greeting of “Hello” from Pastor Murray, with that special twinkle in his eye and genuine smile, that made you feel that you were important to him, because YOU WERE IMPORTANT to him!
This God fearing, God loving man, RADIATED Jesus in his words, deeds and countenance.
He felt so honored and privileged to be able AND allowed to preach Gods Holy Word. He stated this time and time again from the pulpit whenever he had occasion to preach.

You could comfortably approach him to talk about anything and I mean anything!!!
He appreciated every effort, as a God given talent from everyone, no matter how small. He celebrated those talents of others.
He always saw ability not disability...
This man knew how to speak to young and old alike. The young people of the congregation pulled at his heart, right down to the Sunday School children!
Pastor Murray loved music and used his guitar and encouraged the youth to do so to serve God with their music. Never did a service go by when the choir sang, that he would not comment on how wonderful the music was and thanking us for our God given gifts used to enhance worship. He reminded us how the Holy Spirit works so powerfully through music, when used for His purpose.
Pastor Murray prayed for EVERYONE and I'm sure would fall asleep trying to get through that lengthy list at the end of the day, I remember him discussing this with my dad Wray Hansel.
His life was evangelistic outreach as should all of ours should be.
I have only known Pastor Murray since He came to Grace, but I feel it has been a lifetime and I count myself VERY BLESSED to have been his friend, and fellow believer his sister in Christ.
He LOVED Jesus. He loved everyone without exception.
Milford Murray, called ordained servant of THE WORD, you shall be missed!
Well done thou good and faithful servant!
