Dear Connie & family,
David was a special brother-in-the Lord whom I had the privilege of getting to know thru the Released Time For Christian Education Ministry with the Copeland Elementary children. I loved being around him and so admired him for his selfless, encouraging, godly spirit, never complaining. He was a true servant of the Lord and I know he will be missed greatly by all who have come to know and love him. Heavens gain, our loss!
May the Lord wrap His loving arms around you and give you His peace and strength as only He can.
Love in Him who first loved us,
Manuela Shannon

Connie, So so sorry to hear of David's passing, I am lifting you up in prayer regularly. I am grateful for the opportunity to get to know both of you this year. You and David have been a blessing to me. He was a real Man of God and a warrior who "fought the good fight" well. He will never be forgotten by all his LiveSTRONG friends. He has forever touched our lives. Hugs and prayers, Anne

Dear Connie, Christian & Don,
I am shocked to hear of Mr. Buckley's passing. My mom called me today and shared this tragedy with me. I am so sorry for your loss, and I am very saddened that I will be unable to attend the Service. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. I miss you all, and will always have very fond memories of spending time with all of you on Old Trail Road when Christian and I were growing up. Again, I am so very sorry to learn of Mr. Buckley's passing.

Christiane, Connie and family, We are so sorry very for your loss. I will never forget when I got to go to see the Dawgs play a couple of times with you and Dad. I remember stopping to get "boiled peanuts" :) Oh and the times when Christian and I used to try and "pull one over" on Dad/Mr. Buckley. Yea, that never worked! A lot of time has passed since then and we are older now, but great memories and people are always with us in our hearts. Hugs and Prayers to you and your family.

Dear Connie and Family:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss. I was honored to call Dave my friend.
I have wonderful memories of him when we served together at Ft Gordon; when we worked together for JANUS Research Group, and our time together with you and the family.
Dave will truly be missed. He had a servant's heart and was a blessing to everyone who knew him. I know he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I am looking forward to seeing him in heaven on that day.
Just remember, “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal but love leaves the memories no one can steal.”
May God Bless you with His love, mercy and grace.

I enjoyed so much getting to know David while working with him at Released Time Christian Education. He always had a smile for everyone and the kids and all of us just adored him and his indomitable spirit. I never heard David complain one time about how he was feeling. His number one priority was serving his Savior and sharing God's love with the kids at Copeland Elementary. David was a doer and not a hearer only, not only studying God's Word but living it out as he ministered to the youngest members of our community. David was a wonderful example of being the hands and feet of Jesus. He was a lovely man and a precious, selfless servant, and he will be very much missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
