Jose Hildago Obituary
Jose De Jesus "Joe" Hidalgo, born April 23, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas, to Jose De Jesus and Estella Enriquez Hidalgo, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine; parents; and brother, Richard. Joe is survived by his daughter, Jo Ann (Charles) Carreno; grandchildren, Jenelle Hernandez, David Gonzales, Candace Carreno, Troy Carreno; siblings, Elisa Lombrano, Miguel (Gloria) Hidalgo, Mary Lou (Jesse) Salinas, Ernest Hidalgo; companion, Lupe Garza; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 15, from 2 pm to 9 pm, with a rosary being recited at 7 pm. Funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, April 16, by 9:15 am for a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
