APRIL 16, 1930 - JUNE 16, 2015
Alphonso R. Gonzales went to be with the Lord June 16, 2015. He was born in Seguin, TX to Rebecca and Roman Gonzales who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his wife Thelma B. Gonzales. He enlisted in the US Navy serving as a Radio Man in the South China Sea. He then worked in mail processing at USPS where he retired after 37 years of service as Director of Mail Processing. He is survived by his son, Craig (Gloria) Gonzales, Geraud (Anna) Gonzales and Dennis Gonzales; sisters, Diamantina (Ismael) Garza, Minnie Gutierrez; sister-in-law Polly Gonzales; brother-in-law, Charlie Alfaro; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
SERVICE
Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Friday, June 19, 2015 with a rosary followed by a chapel service to begin at 11:30 AM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 AM Monday, June 22, 2015 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.missionparks.com

They say if you save one person, then you did God's will. Mr. Gonzales was a great man and helped my family when we most needed it. You will never be forgotten and you will be missed Mr. G.. Guy's I am sorry that I heard the news late.

Uncle Al was such a wonderful man, so kind and loving. He was truly a blessing in my life. He will be greatly missed by all. May he rest in peace with his love of his life, his wife Thelma, and his three brothers: Ramon, Tony, and Ernie and brother-in-law: Frank. My heart felt condolences to the entire family.
