Juanita Gonzalez Obituary
Juanita T. Gonzalez, born in Southton, Texas went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2015, at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Gonzalez, her parents; Guadalupe and Francisca Torres, as well as her brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Saldivar (Daniel), step-children; Jose Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez, Juan Manuel Gonzalez, Daniel Gonzalez, Virginia Gonzalez, grandchildren; Andrew Saldivar, Adam Saldivar, Jason Saldivar, 14 step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, 2 siblings, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Avenue, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Southton Road Cemetery. It has been over a year now since our Lord took you home to be with Him. I miss you so much. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. You were an amazing mom and grandma. If I can be half as good as you were I will be happy. The love and memories we shared will live on forever. We will never forget you. Even though I miss you so much, I know that you are resting in our Father's loving arms and you are in paradise. Someday we will be together again. I hold onto that. Our beloved Juanita, how we've missed you at the Presa Community Center. You were always sooo happy and loving to each and every one of us. Thank you for dancing with me and letting me call you "ama". You reminded me of my mama, who is in heaven enjoying the love of the Lord and her loved ones. Grandma janie , i miss you so much ! Hope you are look down from heaven and watching over me , i love you and these last days being with you was the best thing i ever done , I'm truly going to miss making you coffee in the morning , you laughing at the pets , and sitting there watching me sleep and you scare me when i woke up to you staring haha . i always laugh when i talk about our memories , i love you so much , there's so much i want to say but this would be a long message , I imagine you smiling right now as i write this , please watch over me in heaven, I'll see you soon . Mom I love and miss you so much. Words cannot express the pain and emptiness I feel inside. Thank you for everything. We will never forget you. I hope that when you look down from heaven you will smile at seeing how many people loved you, especially me.
