Bud Dead, Pickup for Sale! Henry Pierce "Bud" McGrath died August 29, 2015. He was born May 2, 1936 and is predeceased by his parents Halvor Pierce McGrath and Ann Alsop McGrath. He is survived by his wife Beatrice Findlater McGrath, his two sons Brian Alsop McGrath and Hunter Bowie McGrath; Hunter's wife Victoria Nicholas McGrath and their children John Luke McGrath and Molly Margo McGrath. Bud attended The University of Texas where he was a member of the Tau Chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He later belonged to the San Antonio German Club for approximately 50 years. Looking back on his life, Bud was proudest of his contribution to the conservation, management and the pursuit of Whitetail Deer, his mortgage business, The Pierce McGrath Company and his many, many friends in Texas and across the country.
