AUGUSTA, Ga. - Henry A. DeVore died peacefully on September 5th, two days before his 93rd birthday. Mr. DeVore and his wife, Alma, started the ACD Construction Company in 1958. For decades, Mr. DeVore designed and built single family homes. In later years, Mr. DeVore was among the first to build condominiums to accommodate market needs. He was well regarded for the quality of his work and the integrity of his character. Mr. DeVore was preceded in death by Alma, his wife and best friend for 67 years and his daughter, Dolores Barnabei. He has four surviving children, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
