Isidora Bagood Obituary
Doring was born, in Siquijor, Siquijor, Philippines on April 4, 1933. She was the eldest child of eight children of Paula Selim Buhisan and Victor Cogo Buhisan.
Doring graduated as a sewing professional in the Philippines. She arrived in San Francisco on June 27, 1961 and married Archie Bagood in October of 1962. Doring worked for Levi Strauss, W J Sloane, Hilton Hotels and finally Salvation Army. She was a devout Roman Catholic and she loved playing bingo and watching her daughters dance hula.
Doring is survived by her children Gerdlyn Bagood, Lisa Bagood and Lowell Bagood; her grandchildren Marisa Joe, Nathan Joe, and Angelo Bagood; and her siblings Nicomedes Buhisan, Hilario Buhisan, Petra Adoracion, Edilberto Buhisan, and Maria Agan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
When you lose someone you love, you gain an angel you know. Our mom is now an angel walking beside Jesus and she will live forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be Thursday, 12/17/15, from 3pm to 9pm, with the Rosary Vigil at 7:00pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave. Daly City. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 12/18/2015 at 10:00am at St Paul Church, 221 Valley St @ Church St San Francisco 94131. Committal service to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1500 Mission Rd Colma.
