Edward Thomas Pruski, 76, of San Antonio, Texas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. He was born on September 5, 1939 in Kosciusko, Texas. He married Annie Wiatrek on October 27, 1962.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Magdalene (Pawlik) Pruski; brother, Eldren Pruski, and brother and sister-in-law Vernon and Sami Pruski. He is survived by his beautiful, loving wife, Annie; his children Deanne Swierc (Tommy Joe), Roger Pruski (Nancy John), Tracey Kotara (Frank) and Leslie Pruski; his grandchildren, Suzanne and Thomas Swierc, Jessica and Matthew Pruski and Thomas Krawietz, Kendall, McKenzie and Hayden Kotara; brothers, Jerry (Marilyn), Lloyd (Bernadette), Frank (Kim), and Glen (Wendy); sisters, Mary Walker (Rob) and JoAnn Otero (Salo); sister-in-law Lorraine Pruski; and many wonderful in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 6:00pm on Friday, August 19, 2016, followed by a rosary service at 7:00pm, at Holy Name Catholic Church in San Antonio. Father Martin Parayno will celebrate a Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 20, 2016, 10:00am, at Holy Name Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery in Kosciusko.

Edward leaves a legacy of faith, love, charity, and self-sacrifice. He was a humbling example of how to live. He worked hard for his God, family, and friends. He never turned his back on someone in need and was always ready to try something new or begin again.
