Alice Villarreal Obituary
Alice G. Villarreal passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the age of 85.
She was born to David Murguia and Guadalupe Gomez Murguia on February 12, 1932 in San Antonio, TX.
Alice was a devoted wife and mother, and is survived by her nine children: Cynthia Villarreal-Rogers (Richard), Judith Villarreal, Rebecca Prieto (Elias), Deborah Villarreal-Hadley (Michael), Jesse G. Villarreal (Kyn), William J. Villarreal (Magdalena), Jeannette Garcia (Ernest), Jerome D. Villarreal (Vanessa), Patricia Macias (Jerry); thirty-one grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017, at St. Paul's Catholic Church on 350 Sutton Dr. at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, June 2, 2017, Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. following will be interment at San Fernando II. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Priests for Life, or Catholic Relief Services.

Such a wonderful lady! So charismatic and giving. She did a wonderful job raising her children. She was such a blessing to all. We know that our Lord's loving arms have welcomed her home. My sincerest condolences to the family.

Our deepest condolences and prayers to all of the Villarreal Family.
My mom was Alice's first cousin, Frances Ordaz Olivo, as children they were close as cousins can be. My parents moved to California soon after they were married but always kept in touch with her cousin Alice and her sister Marina Segovia. They would see each other every few years when we visited S.A. We all enjoyed receiving Alice's Christmas Photo of her beautiful family, and watched her family grow in pictures. I'm sure they will be happy to see each other again! May Alice Rest In Paradise

So many stories of kindness Alice had for everyone, especially her Tias and Tios. No doubt she was an angel among us. I often tried to visualize how she managed to do so much and still show the love that was in her heart for her Jesse, the nine children and joyfully enjoy the family as it grew and grew. God bless you all . We were very close as cousins and I recall the day she found out I needed a formal. She gave me a beautiful gown she had worn at the Black and White Ball. Her face glowed she was so happy to make me happy. And that seemed to have been her goal in this life - to be kind to everyone and to make them happy. The last time I visited Alice it seemed she was asleep but as I spoke to her and for a split of a second she opened her eyes and smiled. She made me happy again.
