Devoted Mother, Grandmother, Aunt & friend Juanita H. Hernandez, 84 went home to be with her Lord & Savior JESUS CHRIST, August 30, 2017. She was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. She is survived by OV Perez (1st husband), daughter Patricia A. Pena (Lonnie), grandsons Christian Soto, Jason Perez, daughter-in-law Jasmin & granddaughter Magaly Cortez (Martin) as well as 5 great-grandchildren whom she loved deeply. Her husband Felix Hernandez (2nd husband) went home in 1995. She and Felix (both teachers in Edinburgh, TX) loved to travel in the U.S. during the summers. She was a member of Wayside Chapel where she served in the Widows Group. Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. A Celebration of Juanita's life will begin 10:00 AM on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will begin at 3 PM on the same day at Rest Haven Cemetery, Brady, TX.
