Thomas G. Carson

Carson, Thomas G. SCHAGHTICOKE Thomas G. Carson, 64, of Stillwater-Bridge Road, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at home, with his loving and faithful family at his side. Born in Troy on May 13, 1953, son of Francis and Mary DelGuidice Carson, he was a 1971 graduate of Stillwater High School. Affectionately known as "Moochie" by friends and family, Tom worked as a machine operator for Midland Asphalt in Valley Falls for many years. He was a car enthusiast who enjoyed cruising around in his 1967 Chevelle SS and also tinkering with it and maintaining it himself. An avid hunter, Moochie spent countless hours in the woods waiting for his next prey and also enjoyed fishing. Most of all, Tom loved being a grandpa to his 13 grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Bonnie Nichols Carson; his children, Thomas Carson, Ericka (Tim) Lamoy, Gregory Carson, Nicholas Carson, and Tabitha (Deane) Pratt; grandchildren, Devon, Andrew, Shawn, Austin, Lexie, Brenden, Brianna, Gavin, Payton, Derek, Gianna, Logan and Sophia; his brothers Francis "Bud" Carson and Robert (Diane) Carson, Nichole Knapp, whom he always treated like a daughter and a niece and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 9, from 4-6 p.m. at the DeVito- Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S. Main St, Mechanicville.
