Donna A. Rosko, age 93, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 8, 2017. Beloved wife of the late George Rosko, Sr. Devoted mother of Susan Costa and mother in law to Theodore Costa. Her extended family includes George Rosko, Jr., Yvonne Rosko, Elaine Hyde, Frank and Marilyn Aguilar, and grandchildren Danielle, Leanne, Matthew, Christian Rosko, Jeanette, Stephanie, Frank and Mary Aguilar, Michelle Cader and Jacob Hyde. Donna was also very close to her step-daughter Deanna Positeri, her daughter Katie and other immediate family. Her neighbors Angelo and Vincent were dear and close friends and helped her at every opportunity.

Donna was born in New York and came to California in 1939. She worked for the San Francisco Chronicle for 22 years and retired in 1989.

Donna loved to dance, it was her passion. She served as Queen for the San Francisco chapter of Smooth Dancers. She attended all the yearly, statewide conferences until 2016. She loved reading, attending stage plays, movies and attending family events to celebrate the special occasions of life. The holidays were also her favorite time of the year. She made friends easily with her beautiful smile and easygoing personality.

Friends may visit WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11th, 2017 after 3:00pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12th at 12:00pm at St. Anthony's Church, 3215 Cesar Chavez, San Francisco, Committal Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
