Tony engaged in the world of others. Through the eyes of a friend, a psychologist, and an intellect, he sought to learn what made your life meaningful.
Tony, I will miss your kindness and openness.

Dr. Hardy will be missed by his family at CNS. Even after his retirement last year, we spoke regularly, and he dropped by CNS when in the neighborhood. I am proud to say we worked together for the last 12 years. He was always up for a spirited exchange! I'm grateful we were able to enjoy his company in December at our office holiday party. Rest now, Tony, you lived your life on your own terms, and I'm better for knowing you.

Tony was a fantastic Uncle to have and I'll always have very fond memories of him that date back to about as far as I can remember. He was a gentle man, a gentleman, and an outstanding role model. I always enjoyed being in his presence and I'll miss our many conversations. I found him to be an intellectually curious sort in addition to being very intelligent. Like so many here, I'll miss him a lot.

We will miss you Tony. You were kind enough to lend your home to our parties every year and everyone so enjoyed your beautiful taste. Rest in peace, my friend.

I'm so sorry. I will miss him, his incisive letters to the editor in the Times Union and visits to his beautiful home with its amazing library and the peonies along the walkway. RIP
