David Wentura Obituary
July 23, 1933 - Feb. 20, 2018
David F. Wentura, age 84, died peacefully at home. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Wentura of Quincy, Illinois. He is also survived by his brother Dick, Dick's wife Pat, and their two children, Douglas and Dawn.David was educated in Illinois, Missouri and Arizona. David earned his Ph.D. and Ed.D. at California Institute of Asian Studies and University of San Francisco, respectively.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. His career included 28 years teaching education courses and industrial arts at San Francisco State University, retiring in 1993.
Friends may visit Wednesday, March 7, 2018 beginning at 9:00am at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City, CA where a funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
