June 23, 1943 - March 2, 2018
After a long courageous battle with cancer, Beverley Jean Flowers Tibbs entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 2, 2018. Beverly was a strong Christian with true faith in God.

Beverley was a proud native of San Antonio, born and raised. She enjoyed large family gatherings and entertaining. Beverley had many interests and hobbies; Cooking, Gardening, Arts and Crafts, traveling and fishing, to name a few. She was an active member of the San Antonio Herb Society and Culinary SIG 1. She enjoyed cooking and sharing new dishes that she created with the herbs grown in her garden. Beverley graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School in 1961 where she remained a very active committee member helping to coordinate and plan for each of their high school reunions.

She was preceded by her parents Cleveland and Ardell Flowers and brother Cleveland A. Flowers. Beverly had a family whom she held very dear and remained very close. She is survived by daughter Keni Lynn, son Kenneth Charles (KC) Tibbs, Jr. and wife Kristen, 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 2 great grandsons, sisters Sherri Flowers Wilke, Kandee Flowers St. John and husband Darryl, brother Daryl C. Flowers and wife Melissa, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Beverly had her body donated to science. The family will hold services and a Celebration of Life in her memory.

Many memories created as our families lived only one house apart in Hollywood Park. I know she will be missed by all who knew her.

I will really miss my cousin. We would always have a lot of fun and laughter when we were together.
