Arthur DeLao Obituary
1928-2018
Arthur M. DeLao Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 25, 2018. He was born November 11, 1928 in Port Arthur, Texas.
Arthur loved and served his country proudly. He served in the US Air Force where he was stationed at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, and in the United States Army. He was a WWll and Korean War Veteran. Arthur worked for Western Auto as a truck driver for over 45 years before he retired. After retirement, he worked for Temple Independent School District as a school bus driver. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Temple, Texas where he resided for over 40 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Esther Muguerza DeLao. He is survived by his 7 children, Susie and Jerry Ivy of Comanche TX; Gloria Jean Brock of Houston, TX; Art and Aida DeLao of Humble, TX; Debbie Ann Czajkowski of Atascocita, TX; Theresa Lynn Lewis of Spring, TX; John Anthony DeLao of Spring, TX; James and Cindy DeLao of Sandy, Utah; his brother and his wife, Roy and Pam DeLao of Mckinney, TX. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 5 pm to 8 pm with a Rosary being recited at 7 pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.

My Hero and beloved Daddy. I feel such an emptiness since you have left us. I know you are reunited with Mama and that is where I draw my comfort knowing you two beautiful parents of mine are together.
My heart aches that you are gone, but you have taught all of your children to be strong and believe in the Lord for comfort and guidance.
We will all meet again one day and rejoice knowing we will see our beautiful loving parents one day .
