Harry Jackson Obituary
April 2, 1932 - August 15, 2018
Harry Andrew Jackson Jr. passed away peacefully on August 15, 2018, at the Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, Washington with family and friends at his side. He was 86 years old. Mr. Jackson was a graduate of Dartmouth College and UC Berkeley Boalt Hall and practiced law continuously for over 60 years, most recently as a public defender in juvenile justice and as one of the most prolific volunteers at the Clallam – Jefferson Pro Bono Lawyers office.He was passionate about fighting injustice, nature, music, being on stage, ocean swimming, hiking, biking, entertaining and public service. He was a man of the people, an honorary elder of the Macah Tribe, loved his native state of Washington and eventually married his soul mate, Maria Luisa, sharing their beloved "Raven's Haven" on the Straights of Juan de Fuca. He was also a "List of 50" member of the Bohemian Club where he remains notorious for his guitar playing, stage acting and musicals, song writing and cherished affiliation with Shoestring Camp.
He is survived by his children Jeffrey, Susan, Peter, Jonathan, stepdaughters Rachel and Cristina, 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
There will be a service October 13th in Port Angeles.

My sincere condolences to Harry's family. Harry was one of a kind, I miss our phone conversations, his counsel regarding clients, his view on current affairs, and his poetic refrains.
