David L. Florick

Florick, David L. ALBANY David L. Florick, 82 of Albany, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018, in the comfort of his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Long Island, David was the son of the late Joseph T. and Nettie (Zorn) Florick. David was a Tandem Tractor Trailer operator for the N.Y.S Office of General Services in Albany, retiring in 1995 after 40 years of dedicated service. Upon his retirement, he was a courier for the Lia Group. He was also a volunteer firefighter and current associate member of the East Farmingdale Fire Company. David is survived by his loving wife Jane; four loving children, Gregory (Rhonda) Florick, Timothy (Pearl) Florick, Sharon (Greg) Loe and Dawn Florick; as well as nine cherished grandchildren, Regina, Christine, David, Greg, Justin, Sean, Carly, Drew, and Wren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Joseph, Delia, Dorothy and Audrey. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Friday, December 21, from 4-7 p.m. at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. David's memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 22, at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 391 Delaware Ave., Albany. Inurnment will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David's memory to the St. James Food Pantry, 391 Delaware Ave., Albany, NY, 12209.
