I always appreciated Helene's quiet way in teaching patients as well as nursing staff. Many times she would appear early in the morning to teach crutch-walking before a patient went to surgery. I appreciated her dedication to her profession, and I enjoyed visiting with her after we had both retired and met for lunch with the "old timers" of NMH! A great lady!
