WHEATLEY Mary Aged 81 years, peacefully on 20th July. Formerly of Sheffield. Beloved wife of the late Revd. Father James Wheatley, much loved mother of Anne, David and the late Susan and a very dear granny. Private funeral. Mary was so kind to allow me to stay with her when I moved to the UK 12 years ago. She didn't know me, but yet she opened up her home (and heart) to me without question. I last saw Mary in 2016 and was just looking up her contact information again in the hopes that I might still be able to reach her. I am so saddened by her death. Mary was a very generous person - she truly made the world a better place. She loved her children and grandchildren very much; and I know she missed her beloved husband very much. She also contributed significantly to her community.

I wish to send my condolences to Mary's family. I hope that the memories of your mother and grandmother will help you get through this difficult time.
