Much loved husband of Maxine,
a loving dad of Tammy, Rebecca and Matthew and also a dear papa.
Funeral service to be held at
Grenoside Crematorium South Chapel on Thursday 20th August at 11.30am. Donations for Cancer Research
may be given on the day or sent to

David and Maxine were our neighbours for many years in High Green. I loved going to Church with them both especially at Christmas Eve Service. We often met them both at their holiday home in Skegness where we sat and chatted and had a beer or two sat on the decking in glorious sunshine!!!! David loved his garden and so we would meet at the Garden Centre for a lovely cup of coffee.
Mick and I will surely miss you very much, love to Maxine, Tammy, Rebecca and Matty at this sad time. Love and prayers always xxxxx

I grew up best friends with davids daughter Rebecca and they became family to me i never called him and maxine anything but adopted mum and dad.
Such a friendly loving man who always made us laugh.

We have fond memories of spending time with David at the van and on Christmas Eve. David was loved by many, we remember his great sense of humour in particular. We are sad that his passing will leave such a hole in the hearts of those close to him, but comforted that he lived a very full and wonderful life with Maxine and the family. We hope their memories of treasured moments with him get them through this difficult time. With love Charlotte and Liam xx
