W.R. "Jim" Beamon. Beloved husband of Connie L. Beamon (nee Manrod) for 56 years.
Devoted father of Cheryl Lynn (Larry Wells) Beamon, the late Jamie Richard (Shelly) Beamon, and the late Michael Lee Beamon. Dear friend of Aaron Dudley. Loving uncle to many and a good neighborhood friend. Jim passed away on
October 20, 2020, at the age of 90 years old. Korean War Air Force Veteran. Avid bowler. Visitation will be held on
Tuesday, October 27th from 6 to 8 PM at the Paul R. Young
Funeral Home, 3950 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton, OH 45015.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Darrtown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the ASPCA or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

This man has lived right behind us across the alley since we moved in our house like 15 years ago.. He was the sweetest man and would joke with us.. Jim is what we knew him by and He loved to feed the cats in the alley like me. Would enjoy his walks around the neighborhood even though it took him a long time to walk around the block he took his time stopping and checking out each and every little thing life had to offer him.. He enjoyed life to the fullest.. Some of the cats knew him so well they would follow him around in the alley when he was out there talking to me and he would pet them.. I been feeding them for a long time they still don't even come to me.. I'm sure gonna miss him and they are gonna miss him.. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch with his wife.. A Couple years ago he let a litter of kittens stay in his garage to try and help them keep warm and would feed them and I helped him get them trapped and we got them all tnr and the kittens all found loving homes because they was small enough. The rest of them came back to the alley and I still feed the ones that come to eat everyday.. I did not know how old he was but knew he was up in age and knew he could not hear that well the last few times we seen him and waved he was sitting on his porch with his wife and we waved as always and he would usually always wave back.. We will never forget you Jim.. You was such a awesome neighbor many prayers to all who knew you specially your wife and family.. Last time I talked to him a few months ago he was joking with me outback while I was sweeping before I put some food down for the cats and his last words to you each time would be you have a nice day now
