Mrs. Wells was my favorite teacher of all time. She was so kind to me. She used to take me out to lunch at the University of Michigan Commons and get me chocolate pudding. Even after I became an adult, she would keep in contact with me, sending me Christmas cards. I was lucky enough to continue to see her until last year. The world is a sadder place without her. I hope that she will get to revisit Paris and Fountainebleau from heaven.

I loved Mrs. Wells!! She was my kindergarten and 1st grade teacher. My mom will never forget her making home visits to everyone of her students at the beginning of the year. She was fun, kind and creative. She made me feel incredibly cared for and loved. She always said I reminded her of her daughter and this I took as a huge compliment once I met her daughter and babysat for her children while I was in college. Mrs. Wells was fun and made me love learning!! From the “reading” claw foot bathtub filled with pillows, to the real cash register she had for us practice on. I will always cherish my wonderful memories of Mrs. Wells!
