Of the thousands of parents that I had the pleasure with which to be associated during my career in education, there were none better than the Papalios family. I recall very vividly the first time that I met Gust and he offered his support and friendship during my tenure as principal of Wayne High School. It was parents like Gus that made my stay at Wayne most memorable. And if I experienced any success it was because of the support and guidance received from Gus and Mary . The City of Huber Heights and Huber Heights Schools lost a great friend. To this day I continue to proudly display in my home a framed best wishes statement from Gust, Mary, Ted and Steve. It was an honor and privilege to have known Gust.
I offer my deepest sympathy and regards to Gust`s family and friends.
