The memories are too many to mention. Jodi and I were absolutely blessed beyond measure to be neighbors and good friends with Darrell and Maggie these last 17 years. They “adopted” us and claimed our kids as their grandkids. Papa Darrell and Miss Maggie were what our kids and grandkids called them. To Ava my granddaughter he was affectionately know as Papa “Dairy All”.
I don’t think I ever had a problem Darrell couldn’t solve or a tool needed that he didn’t have to lend. The last few years, each fall, Darrell would pull his snowblower out of the shed, park it on his porch and promptly call me to tell me my snowblower was on his porch, gassed as ready to go.:-)
Our hearts are broken by loss of Darrell, but they are healing quickly knowing he is where he belongs....with his lovely bride in heaven looking upon the face of Jesus!
Till we meet around the throne of God! Farewell my dear southern neighbor.
Much love,
Dan and Jodi Hullinger
