John NELSON Obituary
Age 88, of Tipp City, passed away November 23, 2020, at
Danbury Senior Living. Born April 4, 1932, in Wapato, Washington, to the late Laurence C. & Lois G. Nelson. He was a charter member of the First Christian Church of Huber Heights. John was in the United States Air Force for 22 years of service and worked at the United States Postal Service for 22 years. He was a gifted musician and enjoyed praising God through music. John was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol J. Heist; and his 4 siblings. He is survived by his wife,
Patricia of 42 years; daughters, Althea (Greg) White, Rhonda (Randy) Beard, Johnnie Charlene (Jeff) Stone, Stephanie (Jeff) Frankowski; son, Chris; stepdaughters, Amy (Scott) Valentine, Caroline Sherer; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and other relatives & friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at First Christian Church of Huber Heights, 6114 Fishburg Road. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church of Huber Heights in John's memory.
