Melvin BACK Obituary
Melvin Back, age 81, of Hamilton, OH, passed away to be with our Lord on January 5, 2021, after being diagnosed with COVID-19 on December 12, 2020. Melvin grew up in Big Woods, KY, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Melvin is survived by his wife of 63 years, Treva
Patrick Back; son, Greg Back; daughters, Penny Schoeler & Robin (Mike) Fakes; grandchildren: Lindsey Schoeler, Josh Schoeler, Haley Fakes (Jeff Engel), Leah Fakes; & sister, Berchie Whitt of Wellington, KY. Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl & Mary Peach Lawson Back; four sisters: Maxine Patterson, Betty Ross,
Sharon Spencer, & Janet Helton; five brothers: Hershel Back, Virgil Back, Donald Back, Billy Dan Back, & Ronald Back.
Melvin retired from Magnode Corp. in 1996 after 40 years of service and was a member of Greenhills United Baptist Church, Williamsdale, OH. Pastor Tim Mullins of Greenhills United Baptist officiating. Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held for immediate family only.

Prayers for the family in this time of mourning. Melvin's giant heart had a huge impact on me as young man and that will always be remembered. I grateful for those years I was able to see Melvin as a Christian, a man, a husband and a father lead his family. For that, thank you Treva.

Treva, children, grandchildren & all other family members. Ray & I were so sorry to hear of your great loss. So many precious memories are flooding our souls today. Not only are you are first neighbors we had when we moved to Middletown in 1966 but you became precious friends that have always held a special place in our hearts. We are praying God's comforting arms around each of you. Until that glad reunion day we all will have in Heaven some day; The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; The Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.
