I’ll always remember Mr. Yontz as a wonderful teacher, his goofy quirks and jokes made high school fun! He was more than a teacher, he was a friend!

Geno I remember as a first class guy.
He was friendly, kind and athletic man with a cocky but unpretentious
swagger. A sports oriented person for sure. I first met him around 1967-68 I believe. CYO baseball and
basketball or one or another. No doubt he has been received among
those who have departed with open arms and loving hearts. Good Soul.
May he find his way in the next world with a beatitude and blessings.

Mr. Yontz was my basketball coach at Greenon. I always enjoyed playing for him. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Coach Yontz coach me at Catholic Central high school in baseball in 1980-82. I always enjoyed talking sports with “” Geno”. He always had a smile on his face it was always encouraging to those he was coaching and or mentoring. Coach Yontz, he will surely be missed by all your friends family former players and many more who you helped during your time here with us. God bless The Yontz family it is truly a sad day but we know one day we will be United again in heaven.

To Geno, my friend,
May your horse always be in contention, your ball in the fairway, and your pitch over the plate. Memories never cease.
