KUYKENDALL, Don Allen


Don Allen Kuykendall, 82, of Miamisburg, Ohio, beloved

husband of Joanne Avis Ellis Kuykendall, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021, at his home.

Born February 3, 1938, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to the late Charles & Velma Senft

Kuykendall, he was a retired television broadcasting engineer with WDTN, Channel 2. He served as president of the IBEW WDTN's union for many years. He had been a member of the U.S. Army Reserve.

Additional survivors include his 3 children, Brian (April) Kuykendall & Theresa (Daniel) Miller, both of Lawrenceburg, KY, and Derek Kuykendall, of Miamisburg, OH; a brother,

Jerry Kuykendall, & sister, Charlene Kuykendall, both of Lexington, KY; 4 grandchildren: Carolyn Little, Alex Miller, Katrina Kuykendall and Autumn Kuykendall; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 30th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home in Cynthiana, Kentucky, with burial following in Battle Grove Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Dayton.
